Omega The Madknight is a member of The Hylandaz production group. He has done production for EDO.G, Maspyke, Tame One, Tableek, Binkis Recs, Vintage imperial and Big Jus of Company Flow. Omega tracks can also be heard on various projects in the underground hip hop universe. The Madknight is double edge sword who is an emcee and producer. His versatile production style is something he is always attempting to improve on in some circles he is known as “8 The Great” for his many styles. As an emcee Omega has been blessing the mic for over twenty years and The Rebirth Of a Nation(T.R.O.N) is his first solo project. Hip Hop is in a state of flux and real rap is coming back and this is just one of the many soundtracks.
Lyrically Omega is considers himself an abstract artist with own vision of the world. Influenced greatly by De La Soul Omega brings his own edge to that type of flow. Emceeing and Producing started in High School as a pastime for the madknight and group of friends growing up in Springfield mass. That pastime has matured over the last two and a half decades become a passion. The first time you hear Omega The Madknight you realize that is not ordinary Hip Hop his talent speaks for itself. Now it’s time for more than a local scene to benefit from this good music. T.R.O.N shows the many shades of Omega from gritty hard battle rap (Traffic Jam) to lighter insightful tracks (Somethins gotta change). This project shows the whole spectrum of the artist while sticking to things that are innately Omega The Madknight. There will be no “Reinventing myself as the newest fad” hip happy raps out of this artist. Take the time to sit back and listen to T.R.O.N. you will be surprised how much you enjoy it. Omega has graced the stage with numerous acts including, but not limited to Psyche Origami, Hezekiah, Binkis Recs, All Natural and Earatik Statik, Big Jus, Mojo swagger, Jah Safe of Deep Six and a few more. He has performed at A3C, in Chicago, Atlanta, Springfield.
Bringing that classic hip hop with a bit of a futuristic but old school style Omega the mad knight is right on time with The Rebirth of a Nation.
